Together with Oksana Shakhmatenko, Denis Bykasov and Alexander Kovtun, we organised the shipment of medical aid to Balakliyevsky district of Kharkiv region, which will be distributed among local hospitals.
Galia Krevskaya and the NGO "Centre of regional initiatives of Yavorivshchyna" helped us deliver this cargo from Poland.
We were looking for a truck to bring the goods to Ukraine, but the cost was prohibitive due to the queues at the border. Then the guys from the NGO "CIRIA" offered to help us and saddled up with 9 Sprinters, quickly and beautifully transported almost 40 pallets.
On 28 March, we sent part of the aid to the Pervomaisk Central City Multidisciplinary Hospital in Mykolaiv Oblast. We can already report on this. And today, the NGO "Tsria" loaded a whole truck with our "handles" and joined the aid for Balakliya and added crutches, walkers and blankets. Yana Kazmina responded to our search for bed linen, blankets and hygiene products for these hospitals. Thanks to her assistance, Kharkiv volunteers have already collected the aid (hygiene products, bedding, food, etc.), which we will deliver together with this truck to the destination.
